like the Arie, they aren’t clearly identifiable.

Descriptive Notes:
The deck is different from the standard pattern
of the “Minchiate fiorentine” because it has 98
cards instead of the regular 97. This could make
it a surviving Genoese version of a similar
deck mentioned as “Gallerini” and
“rare and unknown” by the Marchese di Villabianca
in his 1786 book of games, where we are told that the
Tarocchi deck (with 78 cards) was called
“small Gallerini” because of the smaller number of cards.
